The Executive Director of Sales, Marketing and Communication for the event Hassan Rabia Al Kuwari, said the Official Ticket Resale Platform will also help act as a selling platform if they wish to. “Some fans might have purchased more tickets than they need and others are trying to get tickets for their favourite matches. In these cases the Resale Platform will be a great help for them.”

How to book FIFA WC Tickets? He added that there was a demand for nearly 40 million tickets and that over 2.5 million have already been purchased for the World Cup.
Despite tickets being available throughout the tournament, some matches could get sold out as they reach the latter stages.
The Hayya Card will be required to enter stadiums, as fans flock to Qatar to attend the event which is set to commence for the first time in the winter. He continued, “Al Atiyya Center for Hayya Card (Ali Bin Hamad Al Attiyah Arena) opened beside Al Sadd Club which is the first Center for Hayya Card where fans can visit to get their Hayya Card and make inquiries if any.”
The last phase of tickets opened on September 27 and will continue going into the tournament until the Finals.
With categories of tickets being assigned, Category 4 tickets will be reserved for residents of Qatar including citizens and expatriates.
How disable people can buy tickets? Tickets will also be available for disabled persons, with all facilities ensured to see them taken care off throughout the games.
Speaking about fans with disabilities, he said that all facilities including stadiums are ready to welcome fans with all types of disabilities. Fans with disabilities will also be provided attendants for support.
“Tickets are available for them on the website of FIFA World Cup. They will be provided additional tickets for their attendants free of cost if they need to be accompanied by them,” said Al Kuwari.
