Over 1300 players sign up for Yuvraj Singh backed Canada Super 60 league

Set to launch in July at Brampton's CAA Centre, the Canada Super 60 to have 90-minute T10 matches. The league is backed by Yuvraj Singh.

The Canada Super 60, a T10 cricket league backed by Yuvraj Singh, is creating a lot of excitement as more than 1,300 players from around the world have signed up to take part. This includes roughly 1,135 male and 235 female players, all now registering to join the league.

Big names to feature in Canada Super 60

There are plenty of well-known male cricketers ready to play like Finn Allen, Sikandar Raza, Naseem Shah, Alex Hales, and Jason Roy. Other big names include Tim Southee, Jimmy Neesham, and Chris Lynn. The women’s side is also strong with players like Maddy Green, Jess Jonassen, and Deandra Dottin joining in.

Kyle Coetzer, who is helping organise the tournament, is excited about the high-profile sign-ups. According ot a report by Cricbuzz, he said, “I’m absolutely thrilled to see some of the biggest names in world cricket signing up for the Canada Super 60. Their involvement will elevate the competition and provide invaluable exposure to Canadian players, fostering a sense of community and excitement among fans locally and globally.”

What’s next?

The organisers will soon announce the dates for the draft, and the league will have both men’s and women’s games starting in July. The Canada Super 60 promises to offer exciting cricket and a great chance for Canadian players to shine on an international stage.
