Now that it is in common knowledge that India pacer Jasprit Bumrah is injured, as per a report, he has been asked to report to the NCA immediately, upon return to India. But he isn’t the only one who will head there. After a grueling India vs Australia series, there were two casualties for India, Bumrah and Akash Deep, with the latter missing out on the fifth Test in Sydney due to an injury.

Meanwhile, there is no clarity, if the pacer would be able to participate in the second phase of the Ranji Trophy, that is scheduled to restart from Jan 23 — with two matches remaining for Bengal.
