The moment Anushka went onto the red carpet, paparazzi started calling her “Mrs Kohli” and yelling for her. Anushka blushed and laughed as she heard her name being sternly shouted and remarked, “Calm down! Why is everyone shouting? Wait! I still can’t get over yesterday’s roaring in my ears, mere kaan.” She laughed and remarked, “mere kaan bajj rahe hai (My ears are ringing)” when the photographers mentioned they missed her at such gatherings.

Along with Anushka, Sidharth Malhotra, Kriti Sanon, and Varun Dhawan were also present at the event. Varun, Anushka, and Kriti together posed for a photo. In fact, Anushka was seen hugging Kriti tightly.
A day before, at the recently concluded Indian Sports Honours event in Mumbai, Anushka looked stunning when she appeared with Virat Kohli wearing a lavender dress. On the occasion, they also met Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone and Angad Bedi-Neha Dhupia.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Anushka has taken a break from acting for more than four years. In 2018, the actress last appeared in Shahrukh Khan’s “Zero.” However, she just made a spectacular cameo in the film “Qala,” which was directed by her brother Karnesh Sharma.
Anushka is now gearing up for the release of ‘Chakda Xpress’. This is a biopic based on the life and journey of former Team India cricket captain Jhulan Goswami. The film is expected to be released by the end of this year.
