Tommy Fury agrees to face a former opponent of Mike Tyson

Having earned $10 million in his recent bout against KSI, Tommy Fury has accepted a fight against Roy Jones Jr., the co-main event alongside Mike Tyson vs John Fury. Roy Jones Jr., an American professional boxer, concluded his career with 75 fights, 66 victories, and 9 losses. He retired in 2018 after winning his last 4 bouts.

In an eight-round exhibition match at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Jones and Mike Tyson fought to a draw. Meanwhile, in Riyadh, Francis Ngannou faced Tyson Fury. During this event, Tommy and Jones seized the chance to challenge each other, stating that they would fight as the co-main event in a potential bout between John Fury and Mike Tyson.

John Fury, who previously named his son after legendary boxer Mike Tyson, expressed his desire to step into the ring and fight the 57-year-old icon. During a press conference for his son’s upcoming crossover fight against former UFC champion Francis Ngannou, John made it known that he wants a chance to face Tyson.

It would be exciting for fans to witness these fighters in action once more. Fight enthusiasts eagerly anticipate seeing their favorite fighters perform, but there’s a challenge due to the ages of Mike Tyson and John. Tyson, aged 57, and John, aged 59, highlight the factor of their advancing years. Additionally, the fight has not been confirmed yet.
