WWE Smackdown- Xia Li’s debut match- WWE’s first-ever Chinese female superstar is set to become the first-ever Chinese superstar to debut on the main roster. Xia Li will be making her Friday Night Smackdown debut next week since getting drafted to Smackdown during October’s WWE Draft.
Xia Li has been announced for her debut match in the upcoming Friday Night Smackdown edition. However, her opponent is yet to be revealed. In this post, we have come up with three possible names who could face Xia Li in her debut match.

WWE Smackdown: Aliyah
Smackdown is already excruciating with limited choices when it comes to female superstars. Only a handful of names are available on the Blue brand, and one of them is Aliyah, who made her Smackdown in-ring debut two weeks before the Survivor Series PPV.
Having impressed one and all in her debut match by pinning Natalya in a 6-woman tag-team match, Aliyah was flying high until her wings were snapped by Sonya Deville, who removed her from the women’s Survivor Series Smackdown Team. Now, Aliyah is roaming around the locker room with nothing on her plate and could be used as a scapegoat to glorify the highly anticipated Smackdown debut of Xia Li.

WWE Smackdown: Shotzi
Shotzi has turned heel but has been missing out from WWE TV post Survivor Series PPV. If Xia Li is rumored to be a babyface on the Blue brand, Shotzi could be the perfect competitor to face Xia in her debut match.
Shotzi & Xia could also end up having some storyline that may get defined in a series of bouts going forward.
WWE Smackdown: A local competitor
WWE is known to introduce local talents against a debuting superstar, especially if they want their superstar to display their dominance in the ring. Xia Li’s debut has been long preserved, and facing a local competitor seems quite a possibility for her. A local or Indie competitor could be on the cards to square off against the Chinese superstar on her Smackdown debut.
