VALORANT V26 Roadmap Revealed: Neon Nerfs and New Weapons Arrive. Check out the detailed breakdown on upcoming updates.

Riot Games has officially unveiled the V26 roadmap for VALORANT. This update brings massive changes to the current meta. Players can expect significant agent nerfs, weapon tuning, and a brand-new pistol. The roadmap outlines a busy schedule for the upcoming months.

VALORANT V26 Roadmap – All Major Announcement

In a latest dev talk video, developer team behind VALORANT revealed the upcoming updates in the game. Check out the detailed breakdown below.

Patch 12.09: Tackling the Speed Meta

Patch 12.09 is now live as of May 12. The main focus of this patch is curbing Neon’s dominance. Her movement speed while jumping in High Gear has been reduced. This change aims to make her less evasive during combat. Shotguns are also seeing a major overhaul. Moving and shooting with shotguns will now be far less accurate. This change targets the “run-and-gun” playstyle that has frustrated many players recently.

Patch 12.10: Social Replays and Sharing

Following shortly on May 27, Patch 12.10 introduces a social twist to the game. A new “Friend Sharing” feature is coming to the Replay system. This allows players to share their best moments directly with friends. This is a huge step forward for the long-awaited replay functionality.

Patch 13.00: Sentinel Buffs and The Bandit

June 23 marks the start of Act 4 with Patch 13.00. The developers are finally buffing the Sentinel class to improve defensive play. Additionally, the “Bandit” pistol will undergo further tuning. This new weapon is designed to sit between the Ghost and the Sheriff. It rewards precision with high headshot damage. Competitive integrity is also a priority here. New reporter feedback systems will help track and penalize rank manipulation.

Future Updates: Act 5 and V27

The roadmap looks even further ahead into the late summer. July 28 will introduce “All Random One Site” to the Replication mode. This mode adds a chaotic twist to standard tactical gameplay.

In September, a major Dev Update will reveal a new Experimental Mode. This is likely where Riot will test radical gameplay shifts. Looking toward the V27 cycle, fans can expect a total refresh of the ranked experience. This includes new ranked rewards and a better seasonal reset system.

Riot Games continues to evolve the tactical shooter with these bold steps. Fans should keep an eye on official channels for more deep dives. The V26 era is shaping up to be one of VALORANT’s most transformative periods yet.
