Gujarat Giants beat Tamil Thalaivas – Pro Kabaddi PKL 8: Tamil Thalaivas started the game on the front foot but soon Gujarat Giants equalled the scores and began the neck-to-neck battle. Mahendra Rajput and Rakesh S started picking up raid points and they were supported well by Girish Ernak in defence as they son picked up the game’s first all-out within 12 minutes. From then on Gujarat continued to assert its dominance, completely derailing the Thalaivas. Tamil Thalaivas’s Manjeet and Himanshu tried hard to level the scores but the Thalaivas defence lacked support to Sagar as a lead kept on eluding them. The first half ended 16-13 with Giants leading by three points.

At the start of the second half, Tamil Thalaivas came back strongly. Himanshu took two raid points and the Thalaivas defence also successfully tackled Rakesh S as they took an all out and and took the lead with the scores at 19-16. However, Gujarat once again came back into the game.

Gujarat Giants beat Tamil Thalaivas – Pro Kabaddi PKL 8: With 10 more minutes remaining in the game, Gujarat inflicted their second all-out and from then on it was difficult for the Thalaivas to make a comeback and registered a one-sided victory by 10 points. Apart from Mahendra Rajput and Parvesh Bhainswal, Sunil Kumar and Girish Maruti Ernak took four tackle points each helping the Giants clinch an crucial victory. For Tamil Thalaivas Himanshu took the maximum of 8 points and Sagar took 4 tackle points in the defence but it was in vain as Thalaivas finish yet another season without earning a qualifiation.
