A video was posted on social media from the official Chennai Super Kings Fan Club handle where a video of MS Dhoni praying to the goddess Deori Maa became an instant hit among the fans and took little time in becoming a viral video.

After two days of an intense auction, the Chennai Super Kings head into the competition to defend their title with a superb team. MS Dhoni was however not a part of the auction and was retained for 12 Crores along with other star players like Ravindra Jadeja (16 Crores), Moeen Ali (8 Crores), and Ruturaj Gaikwad for 6 Crores.
In the auction, CSK broke the bank for Deepak Chahar who was purchased for a whopping price of 14 Crores, while former players like Dwayne Bravo, Ambati Rayudu, Robin Uthappa all made a comeback to their former team.
