Chennai Super King’s official Twitter handle posted a video where Dhoni, Raina and Rayudu can be seen hitting the ball in the nets. “1 Shots! #WhistlePodu #Yellove,” CSK wrote in the caption of the video.
At the start of the video, Suresh Raina changes the bat and Dhoni takes the guard. Dhoni hits a pull shot on a short pitch ball and Raina flicks the ball off his leg. Then the left-hand batter hits two more huge sixes one of his legs while one playing inside out. Ambati Rayudu then joins the duo, starts with a ground shot and then smashes two big sixes.
Earlier today, CSK skipper yet again proved that age is just a number. In CSK’s first training session in Dubai, Dhoni undertook fitness sessions along with other young players. Besides, a plethora of shots- a four-hit through the mid-wicket, lofted hits over the bowler and mid-on were seen coming from Dhoni’s bat.
IPL 202: CSK schedule for Phase 2
MS Dhoni-led side came back strongly in the IPL 2021 and is ranked second in the league standings after the end of phase 1.
CSK will kick off its IPL 2021 phase 2 against Mumbai Indians at Dubai and would be looking to continue its dominance.
