Haryana Steelers beat Patna Pirates – Pro Kabaddi PKL 8: Patna Pirates started the game on the front foot by taking a three point lead within minutes after the game started. They dominated completely as within the first 10 minutes,they inflicted the first all out of the match and took the lead to 12-4. However, Haryana Steelers made a terrific comeback as within the next three minutesthey inflicted an all-out to reduce the gap to 13-15. The first half came to an end with Haryana trailing behind by three points as the scores read 17-14.

By the end of 32nd minute, Patna had a two+point lead with the score at 24-22. However, Patna’s Sachin performed a two point raid taking Surender Nada out and also picking up a bonus point. Monu Goyat too successfully tackled Rohit Gulia as Patna took a five-point lead.

With four inutes remaining in the clock, Jaideep inflicted a super tackle on Sachin to bring the deficit down to three points. Within the next minute, Haryana raider Ashish clinched two points in his raids by taking Monu Goyat and Neeraj out. With less than a minute to go for the final whistle, the scores were 27-27.
Patna Pirates were reduced to just three men on the mat and Haryana skipper Vikash Kandola went for a raid hoping to take the lead, however he was pinned down by the Pirates defence, earning them a super tackle. With less than 4o seconds left in the clock, Ashish’s unsuccessful raid then brought Haryana Steelers’ campaign to an end. Patna Pirates won the game 30-27. The result helped Puneri Paltan qualify for the playoffs.
