Lahore rode on excellent bowling from Shaheen Afridi (1/28), Mustafizur Rahman (1/19), Haris Rauf (2/22), Ubaid Shah (2/27) and Sikandar Raza (2/27).
Earlier, opting to bat, Lahore Qalandars had an excellent start to their innings, with Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Naeem (30 off 19) forging an 84-run opening stand. Zaman scored 53 off 39 as Lahore posted 94/2 in 10 overs. With Haseebullah Khan (40 off 28) and Sikandar Raza (24 off 10) smashing quickfire knocks, Lahore Qalandars ended up scoring 199/6 in the Pakistan Super League 11 opener against debutant Hyderabad Kingsmen.
