Many believed that Kolkata had a poor bowling attack, due to some injuries and withdrawals. But that is rubbing off on their batting as well. For some reason, the team decided to replace Finn Allen with Tim Seifert, and it showed immediately. They were reduced to 32/3 in 4 overs. From there, Cameron Green did score 79, but was slow for most part of the innings.
Kagiso Rabada ended with figures of 3/29, while Ashok Sharma and Mohammed Siraj ended with two wickets each,
KKR bowlers gave up easy
In the chase, GT skipper Shubman Gill was most fluent and scored 86 from 50 deliveries. That crushed the spirit of KKR bowlers. Jos Buttler, Washington Sundar, Sai Sudharsan, all scored runs for the team. As for as Kolkata bowling is concerned, Anukul Roy gave away 37 in three overs, Kartik Tyagi gave 40 in 4.
