Saina Nehwal’s poor run of form continued on Wednesday as the Indian ace crashed out of the Malaysian Open. Aiming for a comeback, the former World No.1 lost in three games to South Korea’s Kim Ga-Eun.
Having struggled with injuries in the past, Malaysia was once again a chance for the Indian ace to reclaim her lost glory. Instead, she lost the plot and conceded defeat in a rather disappointing outing before the Commonwealth Games.

Nehwal vs Ga-eun Head-to-Head: This will be the fifth meeting between both the players in the BWF tour. Both the players have won two games each against each other. They recently met in the first round at Thailand Open with the Korean winning the match in three sets. Ga-eun would look to put on a similar show but it won’t be easy for the World No.20. Saina is expected to give a tough fight.
