Why did Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar fail to qualify for Paris Olympics?

The Asian Shooting championships is one of the competitions that helps shooters seal a spot in Paris Olympics. Unfortunately Aishwary Pratap Singh was unable to qualify despite his gold medal winning show.

This is because India had already secured the two available quotas. Swapnil Kushale and Akhil Sheoran had already booked their spots to Paris.

Kusale managed to earned the quota by finishing fourth at the ISSF Rifle/Pistol World Championship in 2022. Sheoran meanwhile qualified after winning bronze in the ISSF World Championships in 2023.
