INDIA Zimbabwe LIVE Streaming: India are all set to tour Zimbabwe for a three-match One-Day International (ODI) series. A second-string squad led by KL Rahul has been announced for the upcoming series. The first ODI is scheduled for August 18, the second for August 20 and the last and final ODI will be played on August 22. All the matches will be played at the Harare Sports Club in Harare. The Men in Blue have the chance to test some of the fringe players as the team’s primary focus is still on the upcoming Asia Cup 2022. While Rahul Tripathi, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Subman Gill, and other individuals have all been called up, KL Rahul will serve as the captain.
Washington Sundar and Deepak Chahar will make their comebacks to the Indian side during this series, and Kuldeep Yadav, who has recently only received rare opportunities, will try to secure a regular spot in the squad.
Deepak Chahar will be seen donning the Indian team’s shirt for the first time in six months. Along with players like Kuldeep, Gill, Sundar, Shubman, and others, he will also be trying to win over the selectors’ favour enough to be considered for the T20 World Cup. None of these players appear to be vying for a berth in the T20 team at this time.
Zimbabwe, on the other hand, have performed admirably in recent matches. They won four of their last six games defeating Bangladesh in both the T20I and ODI series. Craig Ervine’s men are expected to put up a valiant battle against an Indian “reserve” side.
