The BCCI and selection committee are not keen on experimenting with the squad and in all likely hood, the squad selected for both the series will be the final Indian squad for the World Cup.
Squads for Australia and SA to be announced as well: It is not only the T20 World Cup squad but also the Australia and South Africa squads, which has been announced. The selectors are going to pick an 18-member squad for the T20 series against the two nations. It will include all the T20 WC players as well. It means that the management can try combinations to finalize their Playing XI as well. The Australia T20 series starts from October 20 in Mohali.

It is important to note that the selectors will pick a different ODI squad for South Africa. They will give the T20 WC players rest before they fly to Australia, which makes sense.
The Men in Blue will take on the Proteas side with the 1st T20I game commencing on 28th September. The first game will be played in Thiruvananthapuram while the remaining two games will take place at Guwahati and Indore. As for the ODIs, the first game will take place in Lucknow while the remaining two games will take place in Ranchi.
The South Africa squad last visited India in March for a 5-match T20I series just after the conclusion of the IPL 2022. The series ended in a 2-2 stalemate. The Proteas side took an early 2-0 lead in the series, but the Men in Blue made a stunning comeback to level the series. The decider fifth game was washed off, thereby sharing the spoils for both sides.
