But, with Green’s delight, the tale of woes continued for the Men in Blue who failed to dismiss Green on two different opportunities. Initially, it was Axar Patel who dropped the catch and then Umesh Yadav who missed a perfect caught and bowled opportunity.

The first instance of drop catch took place in the 8th over. Hardik Pandya bowled outside the off side to which Green attempted a pull short towards the deep mid-wicket. With the ball not connecting with the ball, it took the high ariel route only for Axar Patel to drop an easy catch.
A similar incident took place the second over of the game. Umesh Yadav pitched a slow delivery back of the length to Green just outside the off stump. Green stepped forward to push it back to the bowler. Unable to take a proper catch, the ball hits the hand of Umesh before running off to the fence.
