Fans of Marvel and of the fighting genre should be ready for an exciting event as Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls will be released soon. Created by Arc System Works and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, it is a 4v4 tag fighting game that will come out on PS5 and PC on August 6, 2026.
The project is inspired by the rapid action of typical Marvel fighting games but features modern graphics along with 2D battles. Prior to the actual release, players will get an opportunity to test the game during its upcoming open beta version.
Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls Open Beta Schedule
The developers have now officially stated that the Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls Open Beta will take place between July 24 and July 26 (PT) across PlayStation 5 and PC.
While the developer has not officially revealed the cost of the beta, it is believed that the beta will be entirely free-to-play for all gamers. Gamers can use the beta to check out some of the new game modes and play different characters in the game.
One of the key features of the beta includes the addition of the Asgard stage, which will provide gamers with a totally new playing arena.

Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls is set for an August 6 release, and there are already 20 playable characters available.
These include the newly announced Blade, Loki, and Deadpool, who join the earlier introduced Ghost Rider, to become a part of the Samurai Outriders team of dark anti-hero characters.
Considering that the game has such a big roster at launch, and it features team-based mechanics and fast-paced fighting, Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls will surely go down in history as one of the most anticipated fighting games of 2026.
