Mike Hesson explained that this would be the link between the past and the present. With Gayle and de Villiers having made massive contributions to the team in the past, they have successfully fulfilled all the criteria that were needed to be inducted into the RCB Hall of Fame.

Events at the RCB unbox on 26th March

The RCB team for the IPL 2023 season will conduct their first full-squad practice.
Chris Gayle and AB de Villiers will be inducted into the RCB Hall of Fame.

Ahead of the RCB Hall of Fame Induction, former RCB captain Virat Kohli expressed his pleasure in sharing the stage with the two stalwarts. “AB has truly changed the game of cricket with his innovation, brilliance and sportsmanship. I have played 7 years with Chris and this going to be the ost special journey for me,” said Virat Kohli.
