CPL 2021: Good news for Mumbai Indians ahead of IPL 2021- Kieron Pollard’s formOut of form Mumbai Indians allrounder, Kieron Pollard on Friday returned to form with his scintillating fifty. He slammed unbeaten 58 runs off just 30 balls at a strike rate of 193+ that comprised 6 sixes and three fours. His innings helped Trinbago Knight Riders pull off six wickets victory against Barbados Royals in Caribbean Premier League (CPL 2021). What comes as a big positive is the fact that the crucial inning comes after a string of poor innings. He had last scored a fifty against Australia in July.

Pollard had struggled against Australia and Pakistan during the recently concluded T20 series. His last few innings read: 58*, 2, 13, 22*, 11 and 2. The timely fifty will boost his morale in the ongoing packed T20 calendar.

In the first phase of IPL 2021, Pollard slammed 168 runs at a strike rate of 171+ and took 3 wickets. In IPL, Pollard bats at a strike rate of 150+ with over 3000 runs to his name. He has the second-highest strike rate in IPL 2021 after Ambati Rayudu.
