Joe Fournier made his professional boxing debut against Jorge Burgos with a TKO win. Since his debut, Fournier competed in 9 professional bouts and won all of them with knockout victories. His career stats stand at 9-0 and soon he will make his boxing return against YouTuber turned-boxer KSI.
On December 18, 2017, Joe Fournier faced Wilmer Mejia at Casa de los Clubes in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. This bout ended in a victory for Fournier for which he won the vacant WBA international light heavyweight title. This victory also allowed the British native to climb the ranks ranking him 11th in the top rankings. This is the biggest win in his boxing career as he won a WBA title following his victory.
