Bellator MMA is prepared for a significant occasion. Three championship matchups are part of Bellator 300’s celebration. On Saturday, a gold rush takes place at Pechanga Arena in San Diego, with each title bout featuring a special flair.

Khabib Nurmagomedov’s younger cousin Usman Nurmagomedov, the current Bellator lightweight champion, proudly carries the family name. In the semifinals of the $1 million Bellator Lightweight World Grand Prix, Nurmagomedov faces off against previous champion Brent Primus to defend his title for the second time.

Complete Guide To Bellator 300

The co-main event on Saturday will mark Cris Cyborg’s return to the Bellator cage. In four of the top mixed martial arts organisations, Cyborg is the only fighter to have won or successfully defended a world championship. The former UFC title contender Cat Zingano presents the knockout artist with her toughest test and most intense competition throughout her time in Bellator. Since entering the promotion, the fighters have a combined record of 9-0.

A genuinely unusual matchup kicks off the Bellator 300 main programme. Ilima-Lei Macfarlane and Liz Carmouche were once training partners and really best friends. Championships and friendships don’t frequently mix well. Relationships have ended in the sport over a title, and fighters have missed opportunities that may have defined their careers out of loyalty. However, Carmouche vs. Macfarlane is the outcome of a protracted battle between two buddies who have nothing more on their minds than to square off for the world championship.
