WWE Raw Results: Rey and Dominik Mysterio Make Awaited Return, Saves Mustafa Ali from Veer Mahan- After over a month, Rey and Dominik Mysterio have returned to the WWE. Mustafa Ali was scheduled to face Theory in a singles match. Being a brilliant student of Vince McMahon brought out his new buddy The Miz as a special referee.
WWE Raw Results: Rey and Dominik Mysterio Make Awaited Return, Saves Mustafa Ali from Veer Mahan- As the match was about to begin, Theory played another card. The United States Champion revealed a lesson he learned from Mr. McMahon called expect the unexpected as he announced Veer Mahan as his surprise opponent.

Mustafa Ali put up a brilliant fight throughout the match, however, constant interruptions from the Miz and Theory were putting him off his game. The end of the match saw Veer Mahan strike him with a clothesline. Mahan then locked Ali into his finishing submission move to which Ali tapped.

After the match, Miz and Theory ordered Mahan to put Ali through the commentary table. As Mahan was setting it up, the music of the Mysterios hit. Rey and Dominik ran in to save Ali and took out Veer Mahan. The only father and son Tag Team Champions in history are back.
WWE Can Potentially Split Rey and Dominik Mysterio in the Future
For months now, there have WWE Rey been talking about how WWE wants to split the Mysterio’s and build Dominik. Many had predicted that Dominik would turn on Rey and become a heel. However, the storyline ended up being Rey preparing Dominik every week to handle things himself.
According to many backstage resources, WWE is trying to brainstorm every possible idea to make Dominik Mysterio a singles superstar. Moving away from Rey Mysterio certainly is a tall task for Dominik. It is also interesting to see if WWE will make Dominik go heel or keep him as the good guy moving forward and what will then be in store for Rey Mysterio is a mystery of its own.
