The Kochi Blue Spikers had a disappointing season last year. They managed to win just a solitary game to finish at the seventh spot. Ahead of this season, the team has undergone an overhaul. The team will be led by Eduardo Romay from Peru. Vipul Kumar, an experienced Indian will be his deputy this season.
Chennai Blitz meanwhile have named Argentinian Coach Ruben Volochin as their head coach. While the team has retained experienced players like Naveen Raja Jacob and Akhin GS, the other players are all new to the set-up and they hope to make a good start to the upcoming edition. Naveen will be the skipper of the side.
