- Daniil Medvedev and Alexander Zverev will lock horns against each other in round 2 on Tuesday. Both the players have faced off in 10 occasions, with Medvedev and Zverev having recorded five wins against each other.
- Daniil Medvedev began its campaign as defending champion by defeating Poland’s Hubert Hurkacz in three sets. The World No.2 lost the tough opening set. However, Medvedev bounced back and defeated Hurkacz in the final two sets.
- While, Alexander Zverev recorded his first win of ATP Finals this year after receiving walkover from Matteo Berrettini who withdrew from the match due to abdominal injury. Zverev won the opening set. In the next set, German tennis player was leading 1-0 when Berrettini suddenly dropped his racquet down and covered his face.
- Daniil Medvedev and Alexander Zverev have met at ATP Finals twice before in 2019 and 2020. This is for the third time both the players have been drawn in the same group. Alexander Zverev crowned as champion in 2018.

- Stefanos Tsitsipas will take on Norway’s Casper Ruud in round 2 of ATP Finals on Thursday. Both the players have met twice in their careers, with Tsitsipas and Ruud having won against each other once.
- Stefanos Tsitsipas began his campaign on a losing note after being defeated Russia’s Andrey Rublev in straight sets. The 23-year-old struggled against the juggernaut of Rublev who had 22 consecutive serves in the opening set.
