Pakistan is a cricket-crazy country and thus it is quite normal for their young fans to be extremely attracted to the game. A video has become viral on social media which showcased to a group of young cricket fans protesting outside the Karachi stadium after they were denied entry into the ground.

The kids were reportedly sad as well as angry and were noticeably distraught when they expressed their anger to the Stadium management. The claims of the young kids reveal that they were denied entry into the stadium as they were not vaccinated. The kids further claim that there were not informed by the management that vaccination was mandatory for entry into the stadium. 

“They didn’t tell us beforehand to get vaccinated,” said one of the protesting kids.

The PCB has stated that all tickets ourchased for children below 12 years of age will be refunded

“They sold us the tickets, but didn’t inform us that only vaccinated people are allowed to go inside” added another kid.

Further demands of the kids suggested that the Stadium management has failed to return their money as a refund when the group of kids was not allowed to enter the National Stadium of Karachi where the ongoing PSL 2022 games are held. 

The  National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) regarding this incident clearly stated that children who were above the age of 12 years must be vaccinated to be allowed entry into the stadium.

Previously Salman Naseer the CEO of the Pakistan Cricket Board, stated that all the tickets that have been purchased for children who were under the age of 12 years would be refunded. The refunding of the tickets would be available for a dedicated time period and the refund would be available till midnight of 30th January.
