On the other hand, World No.1 Viktor Axelsen defeated India’s Kidambi Srikanth in straight sets to continue his smashing form in the tournament. He will be aiming to win yet another BWF title after winning the Indonesia Open last year.

Viktor Axelsen has so far defeated six Indians on the trot. He will provide a stiff challenge to Lakshya Sen in his bid to win 5th consecutive time against the young Indian shuttler. The latter can take some positives from his victory against Indonesia’s Ginting whom he defeated 21-7, 21-9 in the second round to carry his momentum against Prannoy.
