Bharat last played for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in IPL 2021. He also batted at the number three position for the team. Karim said he is expected to play a similar for DC if needed. “One must remember Bharat played at number three for RCB last year and did a very good job. He is expected to play a similar role if needed. He is not just seen as a back wicketkeeper-batter to Rishabh Pant,” Karim told to Times of India moments after the IPL auction on February 13.
