Royal Challengers Bangalore thrashed Kolkata Knight Riders by 82 runs in the match no. 28 of Indian Premier League 2020 on Monday to jump to the third spot on the IPL 2020 points table.

Defending a 195-runs target, RCB restricted KKR to 112/9 in the allotted 20 overs.

Virat Kohli-led Bangalore now have 10 points from seven games and a run rate of -0.116.

Meanwhile, Kolkata slipped to fourth position in the points tally after suffering the defeat.

Notably, Mumbai Indians are on top of the charts with 10 points from seven games and a run rate of +1.327.

Delhi Capitals also have ten points from seven games and they are second on the points table as their run rate is +1.038.

Kings XI Punjab are at the bottom of the IPL 2020 points table – having just two points from seven games.

Meanwhile, KXIP skipper KL Rahul is still at the top of the Orange Cap table – having scored 387 runs in seven matches so far at an average of 64.50. The 28-year old also has a century and three fifties to his name.

Rahul’s teammate Mayank Agarwal occupies the second position in the highest run-scorer tally as he has 3115 runs in his kitty and his average is 52.50.

CSK’s Faf du Plessis is third on the list with 307 runs in his kitty.

Meanwhile, Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper David Warner occupies fourth spot in the Orange Cap table. The Australian opener has so far accumulated 275 runs in seven games at an average of 36.71.

Warner’s teammate Jonny Bairstow is on fifth spot with 257 runs to his name.

On the other hand, RCB spinner Yuzvendra Chahal is back in the top five of the leading wicket-takers’ list as he bagged a wicket against Kolkata Knight Riders in the match no. 28 of Indian Premier League 2020.

Chahal now has 10 wickets to his name and an economy rate of 7.07. He occupies the fifth spot in the Purple Cap table.

Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals pacer Kagiso Rabada is leading the Purple Cap tally. He has 17 wickets to his name in seven games with an economy rate of 7.69.

Mumbai Indians pacer Jasprit Bumrah is second in the chart with 11 wickets in his kitty and his teammate Trent Boult is third in the list with 11 wickets and an economy rate of 8.01.

SRH spinner Rashid Khan is at fourth position in the leading wicket-takers’ list. The Afghan leggie has bagged 10 wickets so far in IPL 2020.
