Virat Kohli chose to rest and recuperate on Tuesday as Rohit Sharma set out for an optional training session in Adelaide. The former however was in the mood and shared an old video of him practising. In the clip shot at Melbourne, Kohli looked in his groove plays off the backfoot with ease.

Kohli has taken the tournament by storm, smashing 246 runs so far in the competition, the most by a player. The 34-year-old led India to an improbable win over Pakistan, while also smashing two more fifties in Super 12.
Such has been his form that former England captain Kevin Pietersen has asked Kohli to ‘chill’ on Thursday. Kohli and Pietersen were teammates at RCB during the initial years of the IPL, and the former England man has requested to spare his team in the semifinals.
Kohli meanwhile also returns to his happy hunting ground. The 34-year-old has an impeccable record at Adelaide with 5 centuries across formats at the venue. In the two T20I games, Kohli has scores of 90* and 68*.
He recently went past Mahela Jayawardene for the most runs in the history of the tournament. Kohli incidentally has the most runs in a single edition of the tournament, having scored 319 in the 2014 edition. The Indian superstar could go past that mark should he manage 74 more runs to breach the milestone.
