IND vs ENG 1st Test Dream11 Prediction: Playing11, Injury, Fantasy Tips, Captain, Match Prediction, ENG vs IND LIVE Stream at 3:30 PM IST AUG 4 – IND vs ENG Match Preview: India Tour of England begins on Wednesday, August 04 with the first of the five-Test matches scheduled to be played at Trent Bridge in Nottingham.
The visitors are scheduled to play five Test matches which will kick off the second cycle of the World Test Championship (WTC) 2021-23. The 2021 WTC cycle will begin in July 2021 and end in 2023. Each and every country will play three home series and as many away series. The opening test in Nottingham will be followed by the second Test match at Lord’s from August 12 to 16. The third Test will be at Leeds from August 25 to 29, followed by the fourth Test in London Oval from September 2 to 6. The fifth and the final Test will be played in Manchester from September 10 to 14.
It’s more than a month since Virat Kohli and Co. featured in the WTC final against New Zealand and would be eager to return back in action. There have been a couple of injury concerns for the visitors during this gap but with the core team intact, the management must be confident of yielding the best outcomes. It will be interesting to watch if the visitors manage to better their last record of 1-4 against England in the 2018 tour or not. Although the scoreline looks like the hosts were completely dominant on India but it was a well-fought series if we have a close look at it. Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant, and Cheteswar Pujara scored hundreds for team India whereas Ishant Sharma, M Shami, J Bumrah, and R Ashwin were amongst the top wicket-takers list.
England, on the opposite, would be looking to avenge their 1-3 loss against the Virat Kohli-led side in India that gave India 72.2 percentage points helping them enter the WTC final. The Joe Root-led side was completely outplayed by India’s spin maestro R Ashwin in Chennai and then some fascinating batting display from Rishabh Pant in Ahmedabad. Meanwhile, the host faced a big blow after the star all-rounder Ben Stokes pulled out of the Test series citing mental health concerns and it will be interesting to watch how the hosts feature in the opening test.
