Rohit Sharma is the leading six-hitter in the T20I format
Rohit, who made his international debut in 2007, is also the leading six-hitter in the T20I format and is the fourth-leading six-hitter in ODI cricket behind Gayle, Shahid Afridi and Sanath Jayasuriya. Rohit is considered as one of the cleanest ball hitters in the cricketing world. The right-handed batter takes a little to get settled but once set, Rohit can take apart any bowling-up on his day.
Injured Rohit failed to save the ODI series for India
Injured Rohit fought valiantly. But his brilliant 28-ball 51-run knock went in vain as Bangladesh edged India by just 5 runs to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series. The Indian skipper tried his best but the injury in his hand somewhat restricted Rohit to bat to his full-protentional. “It (thumb injury) isn’t too great. Some dislocation and some stitches. Fortunately, not a fracture and so, I was able to bat,” Rohit said on his injury.
