Horrific! Sign board near Ekana stadium in Lucknow falls over vehicle, three injured

As per Lucknow Police, three people including two women were stuck inside the vehicle.

Lucknow: In an incident, LSG (Lucknow Super Giants) sign board fell on a car near the Ekana Cricket Stadium due to strong winds. Special DG law and order, Prashant Kumar, said that police teams carried out a successful rescue operation on Monday evening. As per reports, three people including two women were stuck inside the vehicle.

The Board outside Ekana Stadium in Lucknow fell on a SUV due to a strong storm. Three people were injured in the accident. The incident caused panic on the spot as the local Police and SDRF teams were called immediately to the spot. In the end, a crane was used to remove the hoarding from the vehicle as the injured were sent to hospital.

To note, the hoardings were installed as LSG played their home encounters of IPL 2023 in Lucknow. However, even after the games, none of the hoardings have been removed near the stadiums. The stadium has a seating capacity of about 50,000 people. It is estimated that there are more than 50 small and big boards installed outside the stadium.
