NetEase Games is now officially running the Final Console Open Beta for Once Human, where console gamers get the chance to experience the survival supernatural game before its official release date. As of June 18th, 2026, gamers who have an Xbox Series X|S or PlayStation 5 can access the infected world of Stardust and take part in the beta until July 9th, 2026 (Europe/UK regions).
In this beta testing phase, there are several new gameplay scenarios and even rewards that will be carried over to the official release of the game.
How to Access Once Human Final Console Open Beta
There are several regions that the Final Console Open Beta will cover, such as North America, South America, Europe, Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia, and Hong Kong/Macao/Taiwan.
PlayStation 5
Users need to enter “Once Human Beta” into the PlayStation Store search bar and download the client.
Xbox Series X|S
Users should use the Xbox Insider Hub application, go to the Previews tab, type Once Human, hit Join, and then access the store page to get the beta.
Participation is limited, with access granted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Unified Console Servers
The other notable feature of the beta is console-based matchmaking between Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 players through the use of unified servers that allow for seamless teamwork among players across both platforms.
Cross-platform play with PC and mobile versions of the game is not supported in this testing phase.
Once Human Final Console Open Beta Exclusive Rewards
NetEase is rewarding players who participate in the final beta with exclusive items that will remain attached to their accounts after launch.
Level 20 with any character or completing three hours of game play in the RaidZone mode would allow access to the following:
- Cosmetic Selection Crate
- Weapon Skin Selection Crate
Even though character development and world advancement will be reset once the beta is over, there are a few things that will be permanent on your account:
- All earned Starchrom
- All acquired cosmetics and outfits
- Up to six collected Deviants
