The scoring chart is dominated by own goals, with Italy’s Riccardo Calafiori scoring the fifth goal of the competition on Thursday during their 1-0 loss to Spain.
The other unfortunate players to score in their own net were Germany’s Antonio Rüdiger, Austria’s Maximilian Wöber, the Czech Republic’s Robin Hranáč and Albania’s Klaus Gjasula. Just eighteen games have produced these five thus far. The previous edition, which took place three years ago, saw the tournament record eleven own goals.
