PUBG: Krafton introduces a “hyper-realistic” virtual human being named Ana in line with Web 3.0

The creator of the popular Battle Royale PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) Krafton, has come up with the first-ever virtual being fueled by “hyperrealism, rigging, and deep learning”. The character is named ‘Ana’ and as per reports, she is developed using the Unreal engine- the 3D high-end graphics tool. Hyper-realistic virtual being ‘Ana’, Web 3.0

Through the creation of ‘Ana,’ Krafton is probably aiming to tap into the Web 3.0 ecosystem. “ANA proudly displays a hyper-realistic appearance, blurring the lines between a digital character and a real human. With human-like features, such as the baby hairs and fluff on her skin, ANA truly looks, unlike any other virtual human that currently exists through other technologies,” Krafton wrote.

The photo of Ana teased by Krafton brings to light the level of detailing that went into making the virtual human being. She can easily be mistaken for a real human. The power of technology will help Ana become nothing less than a celebrity, attracting the interest of people around the world. Further, the creators will also come up with a “unique story arc”, making her popular among the list of virtual characters.

Evolving into Web 3.0 generation

Web 3.0- the third generation evolution of web technologies is the future of the evolved and advanced virtual platforms. As this uses machine learning and artificial intelligence, the concept binds to decentralised blockchain technology. Gaming and social media platforms are attempting to expand into the metaverse and adding a layer of NFTs, creating a virtual immersive world. 

“Krafton’s unrivaled technology has produced ANA, a hyper-realistic virtual person. We anticipate that she will pique the attention and popularity of Gen Z all across the world,” said Josh Seokjin Shin, the Head of Krafton’s Creative Center. “Ana will release an original music track and broaden her reach of impact as an influencer into multiple fields spanning entertainment and esports,” Shin continued.
