The Rishabh Pant led team started off the season brilliantly by pulling off a nail-biting chase against Mumbai Indians at Brabourne Stadium last Sunday. But Ngidi and Mustafizur’s availability means Kamlesh Nagarkoti, who was off-colour against MI will go out of the Playing XI.
However, with Khaleel Ahmed returning good figures against MI, it is unlikely that he will be dropped in favour of Chetan Sakariya.
Nagarkoti made his debut for Delhi Capitals in the last game but he bowled just two overs and was very expensive, giving away 29 runs. The 22-year old is expected to make way for Nigidi or Mustafizur Rahman.

DC Playing XI vs GT: Will Chetan Sakariya get a go?
The other big question is Chetan Sakariya. DC went all in for a luxurious pace attack with Anrich Nortje, Shardul Thakur, Khaleel Ahmed, Kamlesh Nagarkoti, Chetan Sakariya, Lungi Ngidi, Mustafizur Rahman in the squad. With Anrich Nortje continuing to recover from a hip injury, DC will have to use the others.

The team is still without the services of David Warner and Mitchell Marsh. Both the players are yet to arrive in India.
While Warner is fully fit, Mitchell Marsh suffered a hip flexor injury and missed the limited overs series against Pakistan. He is however expected to arrive in India and undergo rehab with Delhi Capitals.
Meanwhile, Anrich Nortje is yet to be 100% fit. Ajit Agarkar, who is the assistant coach of the franchise however said that he will be back to full fitness soon.

Khaleel Ahmed likely to retain his pace – Khaleel Ahmed shone brightly with the ball in Delhi’s previous outing. The left-arm pacer took two wickets and conceded 27 runs in his four overs. He is expected to retain his place in the playing XI and Mustafizur is selected ahead of Ngidi, then Delhi can have a good left-arm pace duo with Khaleel in the side.
