While the 22-year-old was holding his news conference, the cat went across the table to an unknown official seated next to him. The team official scratched the cat’s head before seizing it and tossing it off the table, leaving the reporters in the audience stunned. Despite the gasps, the official shrugged and swiftly asked for the next question from the media, while Vincius Jr laughed it off and the reporters murmured amongst themselves before moving on with the rest of the press conference.

Vincius Jr was questioned about the impact Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti and Brazil manager Tite had on him as a player following the cat incident.
“I talked with Ancelotti and he gave me a lot of advice to help me become a starter with Brazil” Vinicius admitted.
He gave me a lot of confidence. He was always tough with me when he needed to be. Ancelotti is like a father to me. “

“He is good not only with the technical aspects of the game, but also with how he deals with his players. I have been improving a lot and Ancelotti has helped me with that. He and Tite are very similar and they talk to each other a lot.” he continued on Ancelotti.
The emerging sensation is going to play against Croatia on Friday as they attempt to reach the semi-finals of the international tournament in Qatar. After appearing rarely in the country’s three group-stage matches, Vincius Jr managed to score in their 4-1 victory over South Korea in the last-16.
