The explosive batter finally managed to breach the triple-figure mark at the biggest stage after failing to do so during the rest of the tournament. India U-19 are batting first in the final they opted to bat first as Ayush Mhatre won the toss while chasing their 6th title.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi creates record in U19 World Cup final
Suryavanshi breached the 100-run mark in just 55 deliveries in the Under-19 World Cup final against England. He has raced to 119 runs off just 61 balls at the time of publishing this copy and is the second quickest hundred in this tournament, only behind Thomas Rew. So far, the RR star registered scores of 2, 72, 40, 52, 30, 68 before this innings. Suryavanshi has scored a 150 off just 71 deliveries, the fastest-ever. He finally was dismissed for 175 runs off 80 balls, having scored 15 fours and sixes each.
