Pakistani fans finally got the opportunity they had been waiting for. The India vs England 2nd ODI witnessed an unpleasant scene when the match was halted due to malfunctioning floodlights at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack. The game was stopped for about 40-50 minutes due to the issue.

Pakistani fans trolled India and the BCCI for the poor facilities at the stadium. Notably, Indian fans had previously mocked Pakistan for the light show during the inaugural ceremony of Gaddafi Stadium.

Barabati Stadium last hosted a match in 2022, and this is the first international game at the venue since then. Fans are disappointed with the facilities, as they had arrived with high expectations, hoping for a smooth, uninterrupted match.
