IPL 2022 Auction Live: Australia’s T20 World Cup HERO Matthew Wade goes unsold at IPL auctions – The wicketkeeper-batter who played a crucial role in Australia’s 2121 ICC T20 World Cup-winning campaign, Matthew Wade failed to attract a bidder in the IPL 2022 auction. Follow live updates on InsideSport.IN.

The veteran baggy green had kept a base price of INR 2 crore for himself, but with no team willing to invest in him, Wade will now have to wait for the accelerated process to try his luck again. This came as a surprise to many, as Wade is in good form and scored 300+ runs for Hobart Hurricanes in the recently-concluded Big Bash League. He also amassed 74 runs in the T20 World Cup, which includes a match-winning knock against Pakistan in the semi-final.
