India vs England: Team India has won the last 16 Test series at home, with their last loss coming versus England in 2012.

The India vs England Test series is around the corner with the first Test scheduled to be played from January 25, in Hyderabad. While the entire team is at the venue already, and had a net session on Sunday, skipper Rohit Sharma is yet to join the team. As per a report in Cricbuzz, Rohit opted for a personal net session at the BKC Ground in Mumbai.

The report further says, that he will join the team on Monday, with another net session planned. All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja might not be present at the net session, as it is believed that, he might visit Ayodhya.

Run-feast in Hyderabad?

The Hyderabad pitch is generally considered batting-friendly, and Rohit will be looking to make the most of it. He failed during the Tests against South Africa, and would like to make amends against England. The Indian skipper did not have the best of 2023 in Tests, where in eight matches, he scored 545 runs, at an average touch over 41.
