Although Mayweather wasn’t linked with Bonya’s suspicious connection with a Russian company, the boxer made headlines for a different reason.
As reported by The Marçà, Victoria Bonya met Floyd Mayweather and asked the undefeated pugilist for a picture. Mayweather happily met her demands.
However, Floyd Mayweather’s team member then wanted to grab the crocodile skin bag, that the Russian model was carrying. In response, the Russian model made a clear rejection.
Victoria Bonya posted a video of hers and Mayweather on Instagram, detailing her experience with the former WBC champion.
In the caption, she wrote, “Floyd [Mayweather] wanted to confiscate my crocodile purse. What a encounter! You know how much I love boxing! More than any other sport. Now I have a photo with the legend.”
Meanwhile, Bonya was accused of being a Russian spy after she reflected her potential link with a Russian secret agency on social media.
She was detained on the L.A airport by the authorities and the ex-Playboy model had to go through brief questioning.
Further reports cite that airport authorities found a company business card in her luggage, which raised their eyebrows at her.
The company produces video cameras and Victoria Bonya’s suspicious link with them urged the custom officials to keep her under watch. Bonya was also questioned on whether she had any link with Russia President Vladimir Putin or the KGB.

Amidst all the controversy, she seems to be in high spirits, or at least that’s what her social media profiles reflect.
