Battlegrounds Mobile India is regarded as one of the most popular BR titles in India, accumulating millions of downloads within a single year from its inception. GOI banned the title from all virtual stores back in July 2022, citing security reasons. A few days back, GOI made an announcement, recognizing eSports as part of multi-sports events, which led to massive excitement among the fans for BGMI’s possible return. The publishers of the title, KRAFTON even introduced two new events in-game to keep the fans guessing.

With BGMI servers still running and KRAFTON officials making constant comments on making the ecosystem in India better, fans can breathe fresh air on the title’s return. Mini patch notes for the previous update in BGMI arrived on November 8. Hence, we can expect a new version to arrive between 6 to 10 January.
With all these things happening concurrently, it’s wiser for the fans to wait for official confirmation rather than jumping to any conclusions. Several reports hint that the title would come back very soon. However, there are no mentions of dates as of now. So, stay tuned for more updates.
