Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy are all set to make their debut in the BWF Tour as the World No.1 Men’s Doubles pair. After their historic gold medal winning performance at the Asian Games, the duo will return to the tour at the Denmark Open that will get underway from 17th October, Tuesday.
Announcing their travel to Denmark for the BWF Super 750 tournament, Chirag Shetty posted a selfie along with his partner Satwiksairaj Rankireddy on his Instagram story. “Back on Tour, Denmark soon,” he wrote.

Chirag-Satwik eye sixth title in 2023
Chirag and Satwik reached the top of the rankings for the first time in their career. They have had a splednid season so far winning five titles. It includes Indonesia Open (Super 1000), Korea Open (Super 500) and Swiss Open (Super 300). Apart from this, the duo also win the Asian Championships and the Asian Games.
At the Denmark Open, the duo will however be the third seed. They will have a tough challenge as in the first round, they will be up against World No,9 Malaysian pair Ong Yew Sin and Teo Ee Yi.
Chirag-Satwik are in the same quarter that also has seventh seeded Danish duo Kim Astrup and Anders Rasmussen. Against the Danish duo, the Indian recently lost in the World Championships.
