Antony: After Mason Greenwood, another Manchester United right forward gas been accused of Domestic Violence and Assault by former partner. Brazilian forward and Red Devils winger Antony has been accused of the assault by his former partner Gabriela Cavallin. As per reports in Brazil, a police complaint was filed against the player on 5th June.

Gabriela Cavallin, Anotony’s former girlfriend has complained to the Brazilian Police that the Man United star assaulted her on 20th May. As per reports in Brazilian media, Cavallin has accused her former boyfriend of causing her bodily harm, domestic violence and threat.

In a bid to support her statements, she has submitted threatening messages and photos of her assault to the police. As per the reports, Antony played against Bournemouth on 20th May which United won 1-0 courtesy of a Casemiro goal. Following the game, the United forward travelled to Brazil where the incident took place.
The police have begun their investigation on the matter. The concerned player nor the club have made any statements based on the accusations on the player.
Antony had a good start for the Red Devils after his high priced move from Ajax last summer. He featured in 25 Premier league games and scored 4 goals and 2 assists.
In the Europa League he managed to find the back of the net twice and scored a solitary goal each in FA Cup and EFL Cup.
This however, isn’t the first time that a Manchester United right winger/forward has been making the headlines for the wrong reasons.
First it was the club legend Ryan Giggs and then youth sensation Mason Greenwood made the frontpage last year in March for a similar issue.
The English International is still contracted with the club and haven’t been involved with the squad since. It has come to light that the Premier League giants will take a call on Greenwood this summer.
