The legend of Sehwag & Dravid continues on the scoreboard, albeit in a different league. It was neither Virender Sehwag, nor Rahul Dravid. Instead, it was their next-gen Aaryavir Sehwag and Anvay Dravid crossed path at the U16 Vijay Merchant Trophy in a Delhi vs Karnataka match.
But it was Sehwag who won the battle against Dravid, at least in the first innings. Opening the innings, Aaryavir Sehwag top-scored for Delhi 54-run knock. But Anvay Dravid was dismissed for a silver duck (0 off 2).
The captain of Karnataka U16 team, Anvay Dravid has had a decent season so far. He is the top-scorer for Karnataka with 237 runs in six innings including three half-centuries in the U16 Vijay Merchant Trophy.
Aaryavir Sehwag on the other hand has scored 154 runs in five innings including a half-century in the U16 Vijay Merchant Trophy.
