Fans on social praised Babar Azam for his sincere gesture towards Afghanistan veteran Mohammad Nabi during PAK vs AFG World Cup 2023 match on Monday, (October 23) at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Meanwhile, the Men in Green posted 282 runs in their allotted 50 overs. In reply, Afghanistan openers have given an excellent start to their side.
During Pakistan’s innings, Babar opened his gloves to tie his shoelaces. Nabi, in the meantime, dropped the ball and approached Babar to help him out. However, Babar moved away, denying Nabi from touching his feet.
Nabi went away with a pat on Babar’s back. The crowd present at Chepauk lauded Babar for his heartfelt gesture towards the Afghan great.
