NetEase Games and 24 Entertainment have officially kicked off the NARAKA: BLADEPOINT Fifth Anniversary Celebration with a special anniversary livestream. It reveals a major update set to launch on July 2. With the theme “GIVE ME FIVE,” the celebration update gives a high-five to the community for five years of support by offering generous player rewards and a bold new lineup of content. Players can look forward to Wanchu, the first-ever amphibious map in NARAKA: BLADEPOINT history, a dedicated underwater combat system, new hero Ye Xiu, a new extraction map, and more.
NARAKA: BLADEPOINT Fifth Anniversary
Beneath the Waves, a New Battlefield Awakens
As the highlight of the anniversary update, Wanchu takes NARAKA: BLADEPOINT’s battle royale action underwater for the first time. Built around a dedicated underwater combat system, the map allows players to dodge, ascend, descend, and fight across a more three-dimensional battlefield. Players can create whirlpools while dodging and unleash underwater finishers, adding new layers of strategy to close-range combat. However, every dive comes with risk: the new oxygen system consumes stamina while underwater, and running out of stamina will cause health loss.
Wanchu also features five core interactive areas where players can discover different buffs, rewards, and strategic resources. With shifting weather and changing tides, hidden treasure vaults may emerge, while high-tier equipment can also descend from the sky to support players in battle.

New Hero and Extraction Map Join the Anniversary Update
The anniversary update will also introduce Ye Xiu, a new hero built for fast movement, counterattacks, and direct confrontation. His signature weapon, the Kaleidoscope Parasol, will debut as the game’s first multi-form transforming weapon, allowing players to switch flexibly between offense and defense.
In addition, the new extraction-style map Stormchant, set against the backdrop of the founding emperor of China’s Han Dynasty, will take players into dangerous underground caverns, where they will face the ancient White Snake boss in Baidi Palace and attempt to rescue an emperor from peril.
Five Years of Glory, and the Journey Continues
To thank players for five years of support, the Naraka anniversary update will bring a wide range of free rewards — fan-favorite premium skins, cosmetics, login bonuses, an Extreme Temulch outfit, Tae Craftsman Orbs, permanent treasure chests, and 15 exclusive cosmetics for free！Including Soccer-themed outfits, popular ultimate Accessories, and the Kaleidoscope Parasol skin.
The livestream also offered a look at what’s next for NARAKA: BLADEPOINT. For the first time, two heroes will be released within a single season – New hero Nangong is set to arrive toward the end of the September season, alongside new outfits, with more crossovers planned in the future, including museums, Antarctic research teams, anime franchises, and more.
